Back in 2007, Brian Carter partnered with the Newhouse family to plant traditional Portuguese grape varieties on Snipes Mountain in Washington’s Yakima Valley. The goal: to craft a truly exceptional fortified dessert wine. Touriga Nacional, Souzao, Tinto Cão, and Tinto Roriz form the heart of this deeply expressive blend.

The 2016 Opulento pours an impenetrable garnet hue, with rich aromas of raspberry, cherry, and chocolate accented by almond and orange peel. On the palate, opulent flavors of dark berries and cocoa unfold into a sweet, silky finish with perfect balance.
